The Markham District Baseball Association Inc.(MDBA or just Markham Baseball) is a non-profit, community association that is an affiliate association in the York Simcoe Baseball Association (YSBA) which is part of the Ontario Baseball Association (OBA). The purpose of the Markham District Baseball Association is to provide an opportunity for the young residents of the City of Markham (aged 4+) to play organized baseball (hardball). We are here to encourage the learning and improvement of the basic skills of baseball for the enjoyment of all players, parents, coaches, and managers. Our goal is to promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-discipline.

For those players that are looking for more competitive levels of baseball, Markham Baseball offers play at the Elite, REP, Select and House League level.  Markham Baseball Elite program is part of the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO); the REP and Select teams play is as members in the YSBA and follow full OBA standards and rules.  We have two house leagues available for play - the new Markham Rouge Girls House league focused on introducing and keeping girls playing baseball for life, as well as the original core Markham Baseball House League.

All of our competitive teams (Elite, REP and Select levels), play under a common team name of "MARINERS". For more information about us, please visit www.MarkhamBaseball.com or www.MarkhamMariners.ca. Follow up on Twitter @MarkhamBaseball.
