“I would like to welcome Coach Gregg and Coach Haggar to the Grenadiers family,” said Alexandra Reyes-Walsh, President Kingston Grenadiers. “I would like to thank all the coaches who put their names forward for consideration. We are grateful for your enthusiasm to be part of the program. We are only as strong as our coaches and volunteers, and I would like to thank Dale Sands who is taking some time to focus on his health and upon his return will assume the position of Director of Football Operations.”

The Kingston Grenadiers AAA teams will continue to compete in the Ontario Summer Football League and strive to provide a positive and safe experience for every athlete and to promote fair play and sportsmanship by providing a program emphasizing enhancement of discipline, good character and citizenship.

“I am excited to lead the Kingston Grenadiers varsity football team this season. I look forward to working with the best football talent from across the region. Our goal will be to help these young athletes achieve their greatest potential athletically - and as future leaders.” says Nick Gregg.

“I am thrilled to be coaching the U16 team as I believe that football provides a unique opportunity for young athletes to learn important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. As a coach, I am committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for my players, helping them to develop both as athletes and as individuals”, says Cole Haggar.

The 2023 pre-season kicks off on 20 May with both the U16 and U18 teams facing the Hamilton Jr Tiger-Cats at Richardson Stadium.
