It was a banner day for the Berne Union cross country program on Saturday as the Rockets turned in an outstanding performance at the Watkins Memorial Invitational. With near-perfect weather and a fast course, the athletes rose to the occasion and delivered fantastic results.

The highlight of the day came from Josh Nye, who earned medalist honors for the Rockets. Nye not only brought home a medal but also set both a season personal record (PR) and a career PR, showcasing his continued growth and determination.

Several other Rockets had strong performances, adding to the excitement of the day. Setting season PRs were:

• Ally Hackett

• Cyrus Kilbarger

In addition, both Josh Nye and Stephen Fisher achieved new career PRs, marking a major milestone in their running careers.

Coaches and teammates alike expressed pride in the effort and energy the runners brought to the course. “We are super proud of everyone for a great day of competition,” the staff noted.
