The Berne Union varsity golf team opened Mid-State League Cardinal Division play with a strong performance, finishing third in the first league tournament of the season on August 6 at Crown Hill Golf Club. The Rockets posted a team score of 352, trailing only Fairfield Christian Academy (324) and The Wellington School (330) in the standings.

Berne Union was led by Colt Probasco, who fired a 79 to pace the Rockets. Also contributing to the team total were Colt Ratliff (89), Cameron Brown (89), and Gage Wolford (95).
