The Markham District Baseball Association (MDBA) is a member of Baseball Ontario and the York Simcoe Baseball Association. The Mariners Elite Baseball teams participate in the Elite Baseball League of Ontario (EBLO) and features teams in the 15U, 16U and 18U age series. We are looking to run teams at 15U, 16U, 17U, 18U and also a High Performance 14U team.
The program offers coaches a state-of-the-art off-season facility for training to grow and develop players at an Elite level. Markham District Baseball’s team is committed to offering the highest level of support to Coaches and Players with dedicated resources specific to our Elite Program. With a commitment to developing players with consistency in coaching and training, the MDBA’s Elite Program is quickly becoming one of the strongest community based elite program in Southern Ontario. The Markham District Baseball Association’s Elite Baseball Program will focus on the development of youth baseball players in preparation for pursuing their baseball aspirations, including college, university, and professional levels. The MDBA Elite Program is looking to hire coaches with the demonstratedl knowledge and experience to provide baseball development and instruction for all ages and skill levels.
MDBA is seeking a qualified and passionate baseball coaches to join our program for the 2025/26 season and beyond. The most successful coaches in our organization have a passion for the game and a willingness to continue to grow their own skills, while developing like-minded players. This position is ideal for former and current university or college players who are interested in staying in the game of baseball and sharing their own baseball skills with the next generation of players. Availability for the position will begin with Fall baseball season (Sept-Oct), off-season training (Jan-Apr) with our regular season running from May to August.
