EAST HANTS NFL FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAM (U10 + U12 + U14)

The EAST HANTS NFL Flag Football Program is a non-contact recreational flag football program organized and run by Football Nova Scotia (FNS). All age divisions will be coached by current staff and coaching volunteers, with a focus on developing player skills while introducing competition. Each week will include skill development and scrimmage-style play in a fun and supportive environment.

Divisions

• U10 Division – Open & Girls Division (Born 2017, 2018, 2019)
• U12 Division – (Born 2015, 2016)
• U14 Division – (Born 2012, 2013, 2014)

When and Where

Location: East Hants Sportsplex – 1076 Highway 2, Lantz, NS

Schedule:

• U10 Division
  Fridays: May 22, 29; June 5, 12, 19, 26, 30; July 3
  Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

• U12 & U14 Divisions
  Fridays: May 22, 29
  Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

  Fridays: June 5, 12, 19, 26, 30; July 3
  Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Fees

• U10: $100
• U12/U14: $150

Program Details

• Is the league co-ed?
  U10 offers both an open and girls division. U12 and U14 divisions are co-ed.
• How do sessions work?
  Each week will focus on skill development, drills, and scrimmage-style gameplay. Scores and standings are not tracked, with an emphasis on learning and participation.

• What does a player need?

  • Mouthguard (mandatory)
  • Shorts or pants without pockets
  • Cleats (plastic or rubber studs recommended)
  • A shirt under the jersey is recommended

  Jerseys, flags, and all other equipment will be provided.

• Registration Information
  Registration must be completed online through TeamLinkt. Once registration closes, teams and coaches will be assigned.
• Financial Assistance
  KidSport and Jumpstart funding can be used to help cover registration costs.
• Refund Policy
  • $50 administration fee applies to all refunds
  • No refunds after the first day of the program
