In the Pixie division, players hit from a pitching machine only and use an 11-inch softball. The level of competition increases as players begin to learn situational defense and base running while continuing to improve fundamental skills of batting, fielding, and throwing. Teams practice twice during the week at the beginning of the season on set days and as needed once games start for the season. Games are played on weeknights at either the Hershey fields or at one of the county league fields. Teams play against other ETSR Pixie teams and teams in the county league. At the end of the season, teams will play in the county tournament.

In the Cadet division, players hit from a live pitcher then from a pitching machine if the ball is not put into play. Cadet League introduces stealing bases and continues to teach players situational defense fundamental skills of batting, fielding, and throwing. Teams practice twice during the week at the beginning of the season on set days and as needed once games start for the season. Games are played on weeknights at either the Hershey fields, Buck Creek, or one of the county league fields. Teams play against other ETSR Cadet teams and teams in the county league. At the end of the season, teams will play in the county tournament.

The Junior League continues to stress the basics of the game and fundamental skills of batting, fielding and throwing while adding more stress of competition along with the introduction of additional game strategies. It is all live arm pitching with the pitchers pitching from 40 feet. Teams practice twice during the week at the beginning of the season on set days and as needed once games start for the season. Games are played on weeknights at either the Buck Creek field or at one of the county league fields. Teams play against other ETSR Junior teams and teams in the county league. At the end of the season, teams will play in the county tournament.

In the Minor League, coaches continue to stress the basics of the game and fundamental skills of batting, fielding, and throwing. There is considerable more stress of competition along with even more game strategies. This league closely resembles high school softball. The pitchers pitch from 43 feet. This league will play approximately 12-20 games, through the week with the possibility of Saturdays, Games are scheduled for 1 hour and 30 minutes long. Teams practice twice during the week at the beginning of the season on set days and as needed once games start for the season. Games are played on weeknights at either the Buck Creek field or at one of the county league fields. Teams play against other ETSR Junior teams and teams in the county league. At the end of the season, teams will play in the county tournament.
