Overview:

In the 8U division, players hit from coach pitch. The level of competition increases as players use a regulation baseball and begin to learn situational defense and base running while continuing to improve fundamental skills of batting, fielding, and throwing. Teams practice twice during the week at the beginning of the season on set days and as needed once games start for the season. Games are played on weeknights at either the Hershey fields or at one of the county league fields. Teams play against other ETSR 8U baseball teams and teams in the county league. At the end of the season, teams will play in the county tournament.

Overview:

The players will continue their development while learning to hit off of a live arm pitch. This division begins the player's training in the complete game of baseball. Runners will be able to advance to the 2nd and 3rd bases, on a pitched ball that gets behind the catcher. This division is another stepping stone towards playing "live arm" baseball. Teams practice twice during the week at the beginning of the season on set days and as needed once games start for the season. Games are played on weeknights at either the East Tipp fields or at one of the county league fields. Teams play against other ETSR 10U teams and teams in the county league. At the end of the season, teams will play in the county tournament.

Overview:

12U will work to develop young players into the full game of baseball while providing a fun and competitive environment. Live arm pitching will be introduced while players can lead off and steal bases. Games will be played on fields with a 48' pitching mound and 70' base dimensions.  Coaches will place emphasis on the continued development into the full game of baseball.  Most rules of baseball will apply but there will be a heavy focus on getting kids comfortable pitching and hitting off kids pitching. Teams practice twice during the week at the beginning of the season on set days and as needed once games start for the season. Games are played on weeknights at either the East Tipp fields or at one of the county league fields. Teams play against other ETSR 12U teams and teams in the county league.
