Welcome to the Clarence-Rockland Crush Hockey Association, where passion for hockey and community spirit unite. Founded in 2013, our non-profit organization was born out of a collective desire to provide competitive "B" level and developmental hockey opportunities to the youth of District 3 - Lower Ottawa Valley. Driven by a group of dedicated volunteers, we've grown into a vibrant and proud hockey community.
The name "Crush" emerged from a blend of symbolism and locality, with "C" and "R" representing the unity of Clarence and Rockland. The moniker was chosen to symbolize the association's dynamic energy and unyielding spirit on the ice. Just as the word "crush" suggests overwhelming strength and victory, the teams embody this essence, striving to overpower their competition while fostering a sense of camaraderie and resilience among its players. It's a testament to the association's commitment to excellence, echoing the strength and determination of the communities it represents.
The Clarence-Rockland Crush is proud to be an integral part of District 3 - Lower Ottawa Valley, a vibrant district of Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO), itself a respected branch of Hockey Canada. This affiliation underscores our commitment to delivering the highest standards of youth hockey and connects us to the broader Canadian hockey community. Additionally, we compete in the Ottawa B Minor Hockey League, showcasing our talent and sportsmanship against some of the best teams in the region.
Our association is a collective endeavor that unites players from several Home Associations, including the Clarence Township Minor Hockey Association Castors, the Rockland Minor Hockey Association Nats, the St. Isidore Minor Hockey Association Eagles, and the Eastern Prescott-Russell Minor Hockey Association. Our territorial boundaries encompass the current borders of the Rockland and Clarence associations, the municipality of Alfred-Plantagenet, the section of Champlain Township north of Highway 17, and Hawkesbury, creating a diverse and dynamic hockey family. Together, we celebrate our shared passion for hockey and our unique place within Canada's favorite sport.
Our mission is to foster a love for the game of hockey within a supportive and inclusive environment. We believe in developing not just skilled athletes, but well-rounded individuals who understand the importance of teamwork, respect, and perseverance. Our core values include:
