- Every player must be given equal opportunity to play both the infield and outfield, as to develop
their skills and abilities. With the exception of the pitching and catching positions, which will be

- The coach must rotate the batting line up to ensure all players are given equal opportunity
throughout the season.

2. Max time limit of one hour and 45 minutes for Games. 3 outs or 4 runs in will constitute a half
inning. No inning will start within 20 minutes of the end of the game time. The last inning will be

3. General Rules (as outline in the BC Minor Baseball Rule Book):
- Slide to Avoid - If a play is being made, or is about to be made, it is MANDATORY for players
to slide or make an effort to avoid a collision at all bases and home plate. Failure to do either will
result in an automatic 'out'. The ball is dead, and no runner may advance beyond the base that was
last legally acquired. An umpire will have the option of ejection if the incident warrants such a
measure.
- No intentional headfirst slides to a base or home plate are allowed. All offending players will be
automatically called out. Diving headfirst back to a base already legally acquired will be allowed.
- The Infield Fly Rule applies to divisions 13U and up.
-  Leadoffs are permitted.
-  Dropped third strike is in effect.
- Balks are called at the 13U division and higher as per general baseball rules.
