calling all referees!

If you are interested in being a referee for Central Zone Soccer, we are looking for people ages 12 and over to serve as referees for our 2025 outdoor soccer season, which will run from April 27 to June 6, 2026.

Please submit a Referee Application if you:

• Are over 12 years old
• Are able to commit at least one evening per week from April 27 to June 6 to referee games (Games are Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays).
  
• Are familiar with the rules of soccer, and willing to learn!
  

Our year-end tournament will be Saturday, June 6, 2026 and many referees will be needed that day as we'll have multiple games going on all day! All referees will be provided with a BBQ lunch!

Referee experience is not required. Training will be provided with U of R soccer coach, Astrid Baeker on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 3:00-4:00pm.

Referees are paid a stipend. Rates will be $15-$30 per game, based on experience.
