Welcome to the tyrol basin junior ski team!

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on promoting the sport of alpine skiing among our community, foster a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship, and build confidence by developing problem solving skills and leadership qualities of our athletes through organized training and participation in alpine ski races.

Tyrol Basin Ski Team is open to kids ages 4-19 years old.   Join us to experience the world of ski racing, whether at our home hill for our Saturday Series races or representing our team at Wisconsin Illinois Iowa Junior Alpine Racing Association (WIJARA) events. Come learn to ski gates and improve your skills while having fun with friends.

Racing experience is not necessary but the ability to ski intermediate runs independently and in control is required. Athletes must also be able to ride the chairlift without assistance. We routinely practice on Bump Buster and Twister, all participants must be able to ski both of these runs with confidence and control.
