In addition to our regular league play, we are excited to introduce the Venom Select Program. Building upon the foundation of our core programs, the Select Program provides advanced training and tournament opportunities. Experience the thrill of competition and enhance your skills! The Roller Hockey Lethbridge Venom Select Program is designed for aspiring athletes who want to grow their game while embracing the spirit of community.
What to Expect:
- Intensive Training:
- Fun and engaging coaching from Alex Sirard, a highly experienced coach from the Lethbridge United Junior Premier Hockey League (JPHL).
- Skill-focused development emphasizing puck handling, shooting, passing, skating, and game strategy.
- Teamwork and communication exercises to foster a positive and supportive environment.
- Interactive classroom instruction to learn about roller hockey strategy and positional play along with all of the amazing opportunities in roller hockey like Team Alberta, Alberta Pro League, Team Canada, and College Roller Hockey.
- Tournament Focus:
- Gain valuable tournament experience by participating in the Alberta Provincial Championships hosted right here in Lethbridge (June 20-22).
- Explore optional tournaments to further develop your skills and enjoy the competitive spirit (fees may apply).
- Battle on Wheels - Red Deer - June 6-8
- Edmonton Tournament - Edmonton - July 4-6
Exclusive Benefits:

- Limited Spots:
- Maximum 12 players and 2 goalies per team.
- Tryouts may be held if the program is oversubscribed.
Eligibility:
All participants must be registered in the regular Roller Hockey Lethbridge league.
Program Details:
- Duration: 8-week program
- Schedule:
- One additional hour of fun and engaging coaching per week on Thursdays/Fridays (sign-up sheet option, we’ll use the most popular day)
- Cost: $225 per player
- Includes coaching, jersey, roller hockey pants, and Provincial Championships entry
- Fees due after confirmation of program entry
