Coaches Corner
All requirements must be completed before the season begins. Coaches are not permitted on the field or court unless they are on the official PGCBGC coaches list.
all volunteers (18+) must have passed:
- PGCBGC Background Check
- Abuse Prevention Training
*Any assistants under the age of 18 will be classified as a Junior Assistant. They will not have to do any of the certifications but CAN NOT coach without a rostered 18+ coach present.
Only coaches must have passed:
- Sports Specific Coaching Certification and Training Test (including the ASEP or USA Football Test)
All coaches and team admin (18+)
The cost is $25.00 per background registrant. Background & APT are valid for 2 years.
IMPORTANT:
The "Abuse Prevention and Training" (APT) course is emailed to you after you've submitted your PGCBGC background screening. This course is mandated by the federal government for all youth volunteer organizations.
Sports specific certifications
ASEP only needs to be done ONCE for each respective sport.
Football
