FALL EXPANSION - U12 team Ontario Fall Football League
June 1 2026 - Kingston, ON — The Kingston Grenadiers Football Club continues its strong growth trajectory with the announcement of a new U12 team that will compete in the Ontario Fall Football League (OFFL). This expansion marks another important step in the organization’s commitment to developing grassroots football and providing more opportunities for young athletes in the Kingston region.
Building on an established foundation at the U16 and U18 levels competing in the OSFL (Ontario Summer Football League), the Grenadiers have made significant strides in recent years to broaden their programming. In 2025, the club reintroduced its U14 AAA team, successfully strengthening its development pathway. That momentum has carried into 2026, with the introduction of a U12 AA team that recently took the field for a historic kickoff season.
Now, the addition of a fall U12 OFFL team will provide another competitive platform for athletes born in 2015 and 2016, further enhancing the club’s ability to support player development from an early age.
“It’s exciting to witness the growth of minor football locally, and we’re extremely proud of the coaches and volunteers who are helping develop young athletes and strengthen our football community.” said Alexandra Reyes, President of the Kingston Grenadiers. “Football in Kingston continues to gain momentum, and we are working on other exciting projects at the grassroots level coming soon.”
The expansion reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to building a structured, sustainable pipeline for young athletes, while fostering a strong culture of teamwork, discipline, and community engagement. Coaching application for the Fall program, registration and further details about the U12 OFFL program will be announced in the coming weeks.
