Kingston, ON – December 14, 2025 – The Kingston Grenadiers Football Club is proud to announce its continued growth and commitment to youth football development with the addition of a U12AA division for the upcoming 2026 season. This expansion reflects the Grenadiers’ dedication to providing more opportunities for young athletes to safely learn, compete, and excel in the sport.
“We’re incredibly proud of the continued growth and impact of the OSFL,” said Marny Adams, Chair of the Ontario Summer Football League. “In 2025, the OSFL supported over 7,000 young athletes across the province, and expansions like this show the strength and future of football in Ontario.”
“The addition of the U12AA division is an exciting step forward for our organization,” said Alexandra Reyes-Walsh, President of the Kingston Grenadiers Football Club. “We believe this new level will give younger athletes the chance to develop their skills in a safe, competitive, and supportive environment, setting the foundation for future success.”
In the coming weeks, the Grenadiers will announce coaching rosters across all four levels, ensuring each team is led by experienced and passionate coaches who share our vision for excellence and player development.
“Our goal is to create a strong pathway for players while supporting and developing coaches,” added Grant Carr, Coaching Director. “Introducing U12AA allows us to start building fundamentals earlier while fostering a love for the game. We’re thrilled to welcome new athletes and coaches to the Grenadiers family.”
Registration for all divisions, including the new U12AA team, opens the first week of January 2026. Families and players are encouraged to register early to secure their spot for what promises to be an exciting season.
