On the weekend of February 21st - 23rd the Atom team of Interlake Minor Hockey participated in a tournament style playoffs for the first time at this level.  Overal, the format was well received and the players seemed to all have a fantastic time.  It goes without saying, that there were a few hiccups which will be learned from and improved upon for future seasons.

The Interlake Minor Hockey Association would like to thank St. Laurent, Teulon, Riverton, Warren, Lundar and Gimli for hosting games.  This weekend would not have happened without these associations opening up their arenas for the teams to play.  

Special thanks to Marlo the Magician from Fisher River who entertained the kids (and grown ups too) throughout the weekend.  

Thank you to the parents who arranged their weekend on short notice, and travelled where they needed to go so that the kids could play!!!  Without the dedication of the parents, minor hockey would not be possible!!!!

And to the players....  Everyone one of you should be proud of your season, whether your team ended up in first place or last.
