Nanaimo Minor Softball Association is excited to welcome Saje Kurpiela as a guest coach at our Winter Skills and Pitching Camp. Below is a short bio on Saje and her accomplishments in softball.
Saje is a well-rounded softball player, with a passion for pitching. As an amateur, Saje has played at the highest level of competition within Canada and parts of the United States, having been scouted for several touring softball teams. Saje also achieved success in her post-secondary education, attending multiple NCAA institutions and earning her degree with honours, while also playing softball for her chosen school. Saje is eager to give back to the sport and enjoys all aspects, including umpiring.
“Every year I played, every trainer and every coach I had helped me to become the pitcher and player I am today. I would love to be able to pass on my love for this sport, as well as what I believe and learnt.”
