Moose Jaw Minor Hockey Association - Annual General Meeting – Elections & Notice of Motion

As part of the upcoming Moose Jaw Minor Hockey Association Annual General Meeting (AGM), members are invited to participate in the governance of the association through Board of Director elections and the submission of constitutional amendments (Notice of Motion).

Members interested in contributing to the direction and leadership of MJMHA are encouraged to consider putting their name forward for election.


Board Positions Open for Election

The following positions will be voted on at the AGM:

Executive Positions

  • President (2 year term)
  • Treasurer (Year 2 of 2 – 1 year remaining)
  • Secretary (2 year term)

Directors

  • Tier Director
  • U7/U9/U11 Female Director
  • U13/U15/U18 Female Director
  • U18/U15 Director
  • U13 Director
  • U11 Director
  • U9 Director
  • U7 Director
  • Tournament Director
  • Equipment Director
  • Affiliation & Statistician

Members interested in running for a position are encouraged to submit their nomination in advance through the MJMHA website or at the MJMHA office.


Notice of Motion – Constitution / Bylaw Amendment

In accordance with Article 13 – Amendment of Constitution, notice of any proposed amendment must be submitted in writing to the MJMHA Office no less than twenty-one (21) days prior to the Annual General Meeting and posted on the Association website at least fourteen (14) days prior to the AGM.

Amendments require approval by a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of members present at the Annual General Meeting.
