Excitement filled the air this Tuesday as a massive crowd gathered at Poncin Park! We had a phenomenal turnout, and we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out to participate. While enjoying the action-packed games, we kindly ask that you keep in mind that the park doesn't offer a large play area for the little ones. So, make sure to bring snacks and some activities to keep them entertained. A special shoutout to Leslie Lucas and Jen Hansen for skillfully supervising the kids and ensuring their safety. And let's not forget the delicious popcorn, courtesy of Kathy Grimler!

Now, let's talk about the jaw-dropping home runs that stole the show! The field was on fire with incredible dingers from Derek Dudzik, Myles Mendoza, Rico Jackson, Shane Prance, Ben Front, Ben Grimler, Milos, and Jerry Poncin.

In the first game, Team Gamble fought hard to overcome a trailing score, staging a thrilling 3-2 comeback against Team Poncin. This nail-biting game showcased incredible moments including a dramatic game winning home run from Derek Dudzik, Jesse from Ogden Dunes making her debut, and flawless pitching from Alex Hansen, Rico Jackson, and Derek Dudzik.

Next up, a new team led by the outstanding Myles Mendoza faced off against the highly favored Team Prance in an epic clash. Mendoza's two home runs played a crucial role in leading his team to a spectacular 3-2 victory.

Game 3 was an absolute spectacle as Team Poncin, with the additions of David Gearman and Benji Grimler, dominated Team Dudzik/Jandura with a stunning 5-1 win. Katie Poncin continued to shine by striking out the side, while Derek Dudzik, Benji Grimler, and Jerry Poncin blasted home runs.

Notably missing was star Jose Torres, whose busy social schedule and love of computer bands had him in Indianapolis for the evening.
