Miller Beach Flamingos Compete in World Wiffle Ball Championship

Over the weekend I had the chance to follow the local Wiffle Ball team out to Crown Point for a World Championship Game!
I will never stop making it sound bigger than it is because people showed up from all over the country and turned five baseball fields into twenty five wiffle ball fields to support the South Suburban Humane Society. It was a good thing I was able to show up to support my neighbors for their first round on Saturday - they never made it to Sunday.
Our home town Flamingos got put into a bracket with teams playing for generations and came home with zero wins.
It was still a great day for chaos ball with lots of smiles and they can tell their doctor they did an activity this week, which is all that really matters. And I was there to make them look cool doing it.
