Whereas the current election cycle results in both the Vice President U9–U11 and Vice President U13–U18 positions being up for election in the same year;

And whereas staggering these positions would support greater continuity, stability, and knowledge transfer within the board;

Be it resolved that the term for the Vice President U13–U18 position elected at the upcoming AGM be set at one (1) year for this term only;

And be it further resolved that following this one-year term, the Vice President U13–U18 position will return to the standard two (2) year term, thereby shifting the position to the alternate (odd-year) election cycle moving forward.

Whereas REMHA no longer controls the River East AA program this name change reflects our 

new role as a REMHA representative at the Hockey Winnipeg High Performance council

which includes AA and AAA players.
