It is with a heavy heart that we say good-bye to our friend, coach, player and long-time board member- David Jones.

Dave joined CW Minor Softball Association in 1999 when he and his family moved here from Mississauga and he never looked back. David held many positions with CWMSA: as Umpire in Chief he hired and helped mold the young umpires, scheduled and jumped in when we were short at a moments notice. Dave took on the role of Skills Development with a passion for everyone and everything related to the sport. He had patience and guided anyone that came out for some extra hands-on coaching to better themselves whether it was running bases, pitching, catching - whatever it was Dave was always there. David also held positions like T-Ball and 3-Pitch convener, he lined the diamonds and held the demanding job of President. 

David was awarded with the Ian Taylor Volunteer of the Year award in 2005, 2013, 2014 and 2018.

Centre Wellington Minor Softball Association will not be the same without him and he will be greatly missed by all.
