FIREFIGHTERS IGNITE IN WEEK TWO
The second week of the TYSA Junior Division baseball season was a doozy for our reigning League Champions as the Tiffin Firefighters team finished thier week 2-0 and vaulting themselves right back into first place. With convincing victories over the Tiffin Moose and the Tiffin Eagles, Firefighters showed off their talented roster with high end performances from a multitude of players.
Tiffin Moose and Tiffin Eagles aren't to be discounted though as they both got victories last week as well. The hierachy of the league is still coming into focus with there still being six more games to play for each team, there is plenty of time for anything to happen.

Their teammates helped round out the offensive explosion as Kason Daily (1-4, RBI), Bryson Gee (1-3, RBI) and Thomas Toller (1-1, 2 RBI) also contributed hits.
The Eagles offense had absolutely nothing going against starting pitcher Cash Lee who would throw 3 innings of no-hit, shutout baseball while striking out 7 before giving the reigns to S. Cover who would finish the final 4 innings, giving up 5 hits, 5 runs (1 ER) and striking out 4.

1. FIREFIGHTERS (3-1)
Firefighters got two huge wins this week by a combined 33-12 score over Moose and Eagles. The appearance of Cash Lee seemed to energize the Firefighters along with the emergence of Chance Lucius who went 6-7 at the plate and drove in 7 RBI. John Bremyer (5-8, 6 SB) was also lightning in a bottle, drilling 3 triples in two games.
2. TIFFIN MOOSE (3-1)

Jett Pachlhofer added 2 doubles and 3 RBI along with logging valuable innings on the mound. The new look Moose team continues to defy expectations already collecting 3 wins on the year.
3. TIFFIN EAGLES (2-2)
The Eagles went 1-1 this past weekend, losing to Firefighters before coming back and showing great composure as they fought off a very determined Bair Brothers team to get the win. Led by the usual supsects Quinton Tucker (3-5, 2 R, 2 RBI, 2B, 6 SB, 16 K), Elijah Haman (2 hits, 4 runs, 5 SB) and Jacob Kinn, they are getting huge contributions up and down their lineup this year.
4. BAIR BROTHERS (0-4)
The results may not be what they are looking for just yet but Bair Brothers is showing major signs of turning the corner. Joshua Robbins used last week to collect his first two hits. Ethan Wilcox, Dallas Glenn and Eli Robbins are providing the innings on the mound and the offense is starting to produce with help from Elijah Gilbert (Double last week), Archie Stephens and Dakota Hook.
