U9 Lions

U9 Skates:

September 26th from 8:00-8:45 Group 1, last name A-L.

September 26th from 8:45-9:30 Group 2, last name M-Z

September 27th from 8:00-9:00 Group 1, last name A-L.

September 27th from 9:00-10:00 Group 2, last name M-Z.

The above sessions are not mandatory.  They will not contribute to evaluation scores. It is for players and coaches to get on the ice.

October 3rd from 9:15-9:45 am Time Trials for Group 1, last name A-L. All players to attend.

October 3rd from 10:00-10:30 Time Trials for Group 2, last name M-Z. All players to attend.

October 3rd from 11:45-12:45pm U9A Scrimmage 1 top 24.                                                                          

October 3rd from 2:15-3:15pm U9A Scrimmage 2. 

October 4th 9:15-10:15am U9B Team Selection and Scrimmage 1.

October 4th 11:45-12:45am U9B Team Selection and Scrimmage 2.                                                                       

U9A will be evaluated by Hockey Sask.  We encourage all players to attend time trials.  From time trials select approximately the top 24 to appear in the U9A scrimmages. 

For the other U9 teams. Coordinator and coaches select teams.  Teams split evenly. Use U9A rankings to start drafting players, taking into account geography when splitting teams. Have teams play and readjust rosters as necessary.
