2025-2026 IDCMHA REGISTRATION

**OPENS JULY 30TH, 2025**

All players U7 to U18 who reside within the Ile des Chenes and Grande Pointe community area are required to register with IDCMHA.

If the player's final team is AA, AAA, High School, or a Girls team, not hosted by IDCMHA, the player's registration will be automatically transferred after tryouts have been completed.


Step 1

Register each player online through Hockey Canada's HCR system

New Members:  Register in TeamLinkt.  

Returning Members: Register/confirm TeamLinkt information is correct.

​​​​​​​TeamLinkt registration is mandatory as it is used for communication, team placement, scheduling, etc. for the season.

Attend Parent Information Night (mandatory)
September 24th: U7 & U9
September 25th: U11 & U13

Finalize coaches, managers, tournament reps, etc. and Collect the following:
Fundraising Fee ($150/one registration or $250/family)
AGM Deposit ($50 post dated April 1, 2026)
Jersey Deposit ($150 post dated April 1, 2026)


How to Register through Hockey Canada

Step 1:  Click the “Register Now” button below to be redirected to the Hockey Canada Registry website.  

Step 2:  Click the ‘Login’ link (top right corner) and login with your existing account credentials.  New parents/players, click on ‘Sign Up’ to create a new account. Note that if you already have kids in hockey but are registering a NEW child, you will need to create a profile for the new child.

Step 3:  Once logged in, click on the user icon (top right corner) and select "My Account".  You will need to link your child’s profile to your account.  On your "Dashboard", click ‘Link a Member’.  There you will be able to search for your returning child’s profile or create a new one for a first-time player.Step 4: Once your player is linked you can follow the prompts to register for the appropriate age level.

NEW PLAYERS or FIRST TIME REGISTRANTS WITH IDCMHA:
After you have completed the online registration, please provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate to the registrar by email - registraridcmha@gmail.com

MOVING TO IDCMHA:
If your child has previously played for another association, before you can register them for hockey in IDC, you will need to contact our registrar at registraridcmha@gmail.com to initiate a transfer.

GOALIES:

  • For ​​U11, U13, U15 Goalies with their own equipment will receive a 25% Discount.
  • For U9, Goalies rotate amongst the players.


GIRLS TEAMS:

  • Players will be able to register forRegistrarIDCMHA@gmail.com either  mixed or girls only teams through HCR. 
    At this time, it is not confirmed where the Girls teams at each level will be hosted, but intention would be to partner with close neighbouring associations.
  • Girls may still decide and declare their intentions to play mixed or girls only hockey, prior to Evaluations.   But once you attend the first Evluation skate, you will have finalized your decision and will be unable to change divisions.
  • Families will be contacted with more information as it is available.  With any questions, contact IDCMHA Female Rep
  • The Girls teams may play in the Hockey Winnipeg League. There will be additional fees above the Base Registration Fee as outlined; these will be determined by the host association and subject to the final roster size.
  • Girls registration fees will also include a $1,000 per team refundable Performance Bond that is split among rostered players, subject to Hockey Winnipeg refunding the bond to the host association.

Additional Fees

These Additional Fees will be collected and processed at the Parent Information Night(s) held on
*September 24th for U7 & U9
*September 25th for U11 & U13
*U15+ to be confirmed (impacted by AA, AAA, etc. tryouts)
*Times and further details to be communicated after Evaluations.

Fundraising fee:  
$150 /player OR $250 / family (2+ kids registered with IDCMHA)

AGM deposit: 
$50 post-dated cheque for April 1, 2026 - not cashed & returned when you attend AGM in April 2026

Jersey deposit: 
$150 per player post-dated cheque for April 1, 2026 - not cashed & returned when you return jersey(s)

Player socks:  
Will be available through the IDCMHA online apparel store - will be launched August 2025.

  • U9, U13, & U15 players require team socks.
  • U7 socks are provided for free by the Timbits program.
  • U11 socks are are provided for free by the atoMc program. 
  • If your kid(s) already have socks in usable condition from previous years, hand-me-downs, etc, new socks are not required.


REFUND POLICY
There will be no refunds issued after December 1, unless approved by the IDCMHA Executive.  Special consideration may be given for medical, relocation, or compassionate grounds, at the Executive's discretion. Refunds prior to December 1st will be given on a monthly pro-rated basis and will incur a $50 refund fee.

FEES & PENALTIES

  • A $50 fee will apply to any refunds in addition to payment processing fees - see refund policy above.
  • A $30 NSF fee will be charged for any returned cheques.

Other Items

REGIONAL TEAM AA, AAA, OR HIGHSCHOOL TRYOUTS:

  • Players from IDCMHA catchment trying out for AA, AAA, or highschool teams must still register with IDCMHA through Hockey Canada for your respective age group.
  • If selected to a regional AA, AAA, or highschool team, IDCMHA will refund your registration fees.
  • IMPORTANT:  you must still register for your tryouts seperately, through Eastman or your highschool program(s).  Registering with IDCMHA does not mean you are automatically signed up for these regional programs.   Check Eastman website for registration details.

IDCMHA EVALUATIONS:

  • All players will be automatically registered for IDCMHA Evaluations held between September 15-21st.
  • If you choose to not attend or wish to withdraw from Evaluations, you will be automatically placed on the "C" team within the respective age group.  Contact Registrar or Development with any questions.
  • Girls who attend mixed team evaluations, this will confirm their intention to play on the mixed/co-ed team.
  • U15 & U18 mixed may not have Evaluations, due to the roster size.  More information will be communicated early September.


U18 DIVISION: 

  • U18 fees are still to be determined as it is likely that players from multiple communities will be merged to form a team.  A host community has  not yet been decided. 
  • U18 players must still register with their communities through Hockey Canada.
  • As teams are formed and it is determined where the U18 male and female teams will be hosted, fees will be set and paid to the hosting hockey association.
