EVALUATION STRUCTURE

• Evaluations are held for U9, U11 and U13
• Each age group includes:
  • Two skill sessions
  • Two scrimmages
• Divisions are split into two groups to allow for more repetitions and multiple attempts at each drill
• Players and goalies attend all sessions
• Group assignments are random and generated through Max Analytics
• Schedules and communication will be sent through Max Analytics

SKILL SESSIONS
Sessions focus on skating, shooting, puck control, competition drills, and other core skills.

• U9 scrimmages will be played 4-on-4 on half ice
• U11 and U13 scrimmages will be played 5-on-5 on full ice
• Not all players will attend both scrimmages. This helps ensure balanced gameplay and provides all participants with fair evaluation opportunities.
• This decisions will be based on the evaluation scores, as determined by Max Analytics, from the prior skill and scrimmage sessions.

Goalies will attend the skill and scrimmage sessions. They will also attend a goalie-only session. 

• All U9-U13 players/goalies are automatically registered to attend evaluations
• Players will be randomly assigned to groups through Max Analytics within their age group and assigned specific ice times
• Ice times/groups be emailed to you directly and posted on our website (see below)
• Players are asked to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before their scheduled session.
• At check-in, players will be assigned a random jersey (which should be returned after the session) 
• Players may be assigned a black jersey at one skate and a white jersey at another (jersey colours are generated by the evaluation program)

• Spectators are not permitted access to the ice surface area during evaluations
• Spectators will be allowed to observe from the upstairs viewing area

If you wish to opt-out of evaluations, please contact the Development Coordinator to withdraw from participating. Withdrawing players or goalies will be automatically placed on the "C" team and will be ineligible for the "A" or "B" team(s), as determined for the age group each season.
