Hockey Regina (HRI) Refund Policy

**If a player withdraws on or prior to the final day of registration, August 27, 2025, a 100% refund of the HRI registration fees paid will be provided. 
​​​​​​​Note that the Evaluation & Administration fee is nonrefundable; this amount varies between $105-$230 depending on the division.**

The effective date for all refunds shall be the date that the Hockey Regina office is informed in writing (email or written notification) that the player has withdrawn from Hockey Regina. Refunds are calculated as follows:

  • A refund of 90% of the HRI Registration Fee (100% for U7) will be issued if a player withdraws after the close of registration, August 27th, and prior to placement on a team.
  • A refund of 75% of the HRI Registration Fee will be issued if a player withdraws after placement on a team and before November 15.
  • A refund of 50% of the HRI Registration Fee will be issued if a player withdraws after November 15 and before December 15.
  • A refund of 25% of the HRI Registration Fee will be issued if a player withdraws after December 15 and before January 15.
  • Refunds will not be issued if a player withdraws after January 15.
  • Long-term Injury: Should a player receive a long-term injury during the season, that is not a season ending injury and requires a player to miss two (2) consecutive months or more of the season, a player will be eligible for a rebate of the HRI Registration Fees based on the amount of regular season games missed. Medical documentation is required to receive the rebate.
