Hockey Regina is pleased to announce that the application period for Head Coaching Positions for the 2026-2027 season has now been opened.

Those individuals interested in being considered for Head Coach positions for the upcoming hockey season should apply by submitting their application.

Competitions will be up to a two-stage process, based on evaluation in the first stage, some applicants may be direct appointed to positions, while other competitions will move to the second stage, which may include an interview.

The first stage encompasses review and evaluation of candidate's experience, qualifications, certifications, coaching philosophy, discipline history, survey feedback, season plan (where applicable) and Hockey Saskatchewan and global referencing.

Stage One Application Review for AA Competitions will begin March 16th. Applications submitted after this date may not be considered for their applicable AA competition.

Anticipated Second Stage Interview Timelines:

• Female U13AA, U15AA, U18AA: April 8-9

• Coed U13AA, U15AA, U16AA, U18AA: April 12-13

• U9 & U11 top-tier Coed & Female: May 6-7

Successful candidates will aim to be publicly named approximately one week after the conclusion of the second stage of competitions.

Secondary tiers will be named in the fall in conjunction with evaluations, there shall be no interviews conducted for secondary tiers, the application shall remain open for these divisions until October.
