We enforce background checks to ensure the protection and safety of all of the children who have signed up to play at GWGSL.

Can I request a player to be on a team with a certain player or coach?
While we do our best to accommodate these requests, they will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but no promises due to players being drafted by coaches.

What is a draft?
After the evaluations, all players except Peewee will be assigned to a team based on the coach's evaluation.

What does the evaluation look like?
Evaluations will be held for all players, except Peewee, to measure their skills. Coaches will take notes during the evaluation process to use during the draft period.

Do you allow pets on the property?
During games and practices, we DO NOT allow any pets unless they are service animals with credentials.

What duties are expected of a board member?
We meet in person once a month for our board meetings to discuss various topics surrounding the league. We also have our board members work 2-3 nights during the season to be the director on duty during a game night to help resolve any issues that may arise. Other than that, we are always looking for more volunteers to step up and help make this league the best it can be for the girls. If you are interested, click here and let us know!
