2026 spring SEASON REGISTRATION is open!

Get ready for another exciting season on the diamond!  All girls ages 3-18 are welcome to play in our league, regardless of where they live.

Mark your calendars for some important upcoming dates:

• April 6 – Spring practices begin
• April 18 – Picture Day
• April 22 – GWGSL Night at High School Softball
• April 25 – Parade & Opening Day
• May 4 – Fall Registration Begins
• June 8–12 – Spring Tournament (depending on number of teams)

Whether your player is brand new to the game or returning for another season, we can’t wait to welcome your family back to the GWGSL Complex. Check back often for division details, schedules, and additional season updates as we get closer to Opening Day!

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to play youth sports, regardless of financial circumstances. If your family needs help covering registration fees, we participate in the Every Kid Sports Pass program. This nonprofit program provides financial support to qualifying families to help pay youth sports registration fees.

Eligible families can apply and, if approved, receive funding to help cover the cost of rec-level sports registration for children ages 4–18 who qualify (for example, those enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC).

⚠️ IMPORTANT DIVISION AGE POLICY UPDATE FOR 2026 ⚠️

New for the 2026 season: GWGSL has updated how player divisions are determined.

Divisions will now be based on a player’s age as of August 31, 2025, rather than January 1.

This change better aligns our league with common softball standards and helps ensure fair competition and appropriate player development. Division birth-year ranges will be posted on the registration page to help families select the correct division. As always, players may be evaluated and placed accordingly based on league rules.

Founded in 1968, the Greater Whiteland Girls Softball League has proudly served our community for more than five decades. What began as a small local league has grown into a welcoming, well-organized program focused on player development, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of the game.

GWGSL provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where girls of all skill levels can learn, grow, and thrive — both on and off the field. From first-time players picking up a glove to experienced athletes continuing to build their skills, there is a place for everyone in our league.

As a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization, GWGSL is powered by dedicated parents, coaches, and community members who give their time to create a positive, memorable experience for every player and family.
