Board Member Position Description
Treasurer
The Forest Lake Youth Lacrosse Board is a sub-group of the Forest Lake Athletic Association (FLAAA) and serves as a 5013C non-profit organization independent of the public-school system to provide athletic opportunities for students in the areas of Baseball, Basketball, Fastpitch, Football, Lacrosse, T-Ball, and Volleyball.
The Forest Lake Youth Lacrosse Board oversees all planning and activities specifically related to youth lacrosse for girls and boys between ages 7-15.
Treasurer
Term: Elected/Appointed to the FL Lax Board with a 2-year term running November to October.
Position Summary:
The Board Treasurer will manage the overall information, transaction, and summary of all financial details related to the board.
Essential Duties:
Collect and maintain all data on expenses and income for the Association.
Develop annual budget based on previous year’s actual data and input from Board members.
Report in writing, on a monthly basis, to the Board of Directors, the financial position of the organization.
Have custody of all funds of the Association and keep accurate records of receipts and expenditures.
Be primary conduit to teams on all billing / expense matters.
Provide all information to FLAAA Treasurer and reconcile on a monthly basis

Jan - Aug - 4 hours/month
Sept - Dec - 4 hours / month
