2026 Try Football Day Skills Camp registration is open!
we host Try Football Days at different locations throughout our catchment, including St. Boniface and St. Vital, with the goal of promoting football in as many neighbourhoods as possible!
Our Tackle Football season kicks off with our Try Football Day Skills Camps! These FREE, non-contact, football skills camps are open to anyone wanting to try the sport, as well as returning players looking to get a head start on the season. Players who participate will rotate through a number of stations with other players their age. Throughout these different stations, players will learn the basics of tackle football from our certified coaches in a fun and safe environment! There will also be free snacks and refreshments following the event.
All are welcome to attend! This event is open to anyone turning ages 8 to 17 (born 2009 to 2018) regardless of where you live in Manitoba. So, bring as many friends out as possible to TRY FOOTBALL! Participants can register for one or more of the events below.
2026 Try Football Day dates and locations:
- Saturday May 2nd, 2026 - 928 Maginot Street (Falcons Football Club), 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday May 23rd, 2026 - Provencher Park (271 Cathedrale Drive), 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday May 30th, 2026 - Norwood Community Centre Park Area (87 Walmer Street) , 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
All participants must register online prior to their prefered camp(s). Once registered, more details regarding the event will be communicated to you via email.
