The Falcons Football Club are excited to announce that we are the recipients of two Grants in support of our pending Field Lights and Permanent Scoreboard projects.

The project will cost approximately $425,000.00 and, so far, we have received commitment for $318,500.00.

- $212,500.00 through the Province of Manitoba's Arts, Culture and Sport in Community Fund, MLA Obby Khan

- $106,000.00 from the City of Winnipeg's Land Dedication Reserve Fund, Concilor Matt Allard

It is our anticipation that the balance required, to meet our goal of $425,000.00, will come with the aid of our MP's office, Honorable Mr. Dan Vandal

The project was initiated, last fall, with the tremendous support of MLA Audrey Gordon as well as several local contractors and Falcons members.

Although there were some moments of uncertaintly during the process, it now appears that we are well on our way toward having both projects installed and operational by late spring of 2024 or sooner.
