Registration and Fees
Registration for the 2026-27 season is now open! The registration deadline is June 30, 2026. Registrations received after June 30 will have late fees applied.
You will need your player’s Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) Number to register, and if your player is brand new to hockey, you will have to contact CMHA to have one set up. The HCR number is a unique ID used by Hockey Canada and its Members to manage registrations, team rosters, player profiles, and more.
How to find your players HCR# in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR 3.0 (Spordle))
NOTE: IF ANY information is incorrect (address, postal code, birthdate) when you retrieve your players HCR number you will need update it before completing the CMHA hockey registration.
Step 1: Log in to your Spordle account
Step 2: Click the profile icon in the top right corner.
Step 3: On the left side of the page, select "Members"
Step 4: Select your participant from the icons labelled with player initials.
Step 5: Click "View Profile"
The Hockey Canada ID (HCR #) is directly below the player's name. HCR # will be 8-14 digits.Once you have your players HCR number and have ensured the information is correct in the HCR profile you can complete the CMHA registration process and enter your players HCR # into the validator at the end of the online registration process.
If your player previously played for a different minor hockey association: Please send an email to info@clavetminorhockey.ca with your players infomration and details of your situation. If you recently moved or are looking for a new hockey centre you will require a release and a tranfer in the HCR.

Fee Information
To be registered you must complete and submit your Player Registration Form and pay your fees as described in the registration process. Late registrations will be charged $100 if received after July 1 and $200 after August 1. Registrations after August 1 may not be accepted. Late Fee Exceptions include players new to minor hockey, families who have newly moved into CMHA jurisdiction, and all U7 players.
Registration dates are coordinated with Saskatoon Minor Hockey in order to help CMHA determine how many players, teams, and divisions we will ultimately have to register in the leagues and allows time to communicate with neighbouring minor hockey associations to confirm their intentions for teams. Two payment options are available, credit card installments, or e-transfer payment to payment@clavetminorhockey.ca. The online credit card options come at a cost of roughly 3.5% of the registration fee to CMHA to process the payment. This fee will be passed on during the online credit card payment. If you are paying by etransfer the full amount is DUE PRIOR TO JUNE 30, 2026 OR LATE FEES WILL APPLY. There is no option for installments by etransfer. After June 30, 2026 etransfers will not be accepted and credit card payment will be the only option.
