Seasons, Teams and Schedules

Seasons Defined

Lacrosse in the Pacific Northwest is a spring sport. Our primary season runs from February - May, with the potential of participating in tournaments well into June.  Our youth teams (1st-8th grades) play in the Greater Eastside Lacrosse League (GELL).  Our High School team (9th-12th grades) play in the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association (WHBLA).  Games are scheduled by the leagues.

CLAX along with many other teams  also offer Fall Ball, September-November, for 9th-12th grade (8th with prior lacrosse experience). The approach is more of a casual one, with practices typically less than the regular season and, depending on participation from around the area, may or may not includes formal games.

Summer is the "off-season".  There are many camps available locally where kids can hone their skills.  including an annual CLAX camp.
