CAMFA is looking for Flag Football Officials to referee our upcoming spring season.  Flag Football is a great place to start, and you get paid to do it, and all your training is provided.

Here is some of the key information:

ABOUT THE GAME

• The games are an hour long, so it’s not a huge commitment.
• You will work with another official – there should be at least 2 officials per game.
• The game day fields are much smaller – about a ¼ of the size of the turf. So there is less running.

ABOUT THE TRAINING

• All the training is provided.
• All the gear is provided (shirt, whistle, and flags).
• There is a short online course and an in-person session that includes real game experience so that you are prepared for game day.
• At the end of the training, you will be a Certified Flag Official, which means if you want to, you could officiate a game anywhere in Canada.

ABOUT THE PAY

• As a Flag Official, you will be paid for your time.
• Officials will receive $15 per game (again with each game only an hour that $15/hr).
