Dress Code 3.1

As a base, all players must wear shin guards and will be asked to respect the following dress code:

i. Wear the provided socks of your team's colors

ii. Wear the provided shorts of your team's colors

iii. Wear the official ASSRP Team Uniform

iv. No shin guards, NO PLAY for the player.

Any other piece of equipment other than that described above, the player should not be able to play. This is a very strict rule and no one will be able to deviate from it. If Captains agree on other uniform being worn because of availability of spare kits, the match can on without consequences.  In Playoffs, ALL PLAYERS must wear the full kit.

The Shin Guards is different as it is mean to be a protection for the player. No Shin Guards, player not allowed on field passed the warm-up.

Spares

Any spare player has to pay 5$ before the game to be able to play. It will be the responsibility of the captain to document the player’s name and collect the money. The name of the player will need to be sent to the committee after the games or soon after. The referees will also be taking the name down and provide it with the post-game summary (score, bookings, etc.)

Playoffs (Spare Players)

Spare Players will be eligible to play in the playoffs only if they played 5 games during the regular season. Referees will be provided a list of eligible players before the playoffs. Spares will be asked to provide ID before the game. During the playoffs, the spares are still required to pay 5$ per game.

Slide Tackles

This is a friendly league; all members make a living working and not playing soccer. NO SLIDE TACKLES are allowed in this league. Period. Slide tackles, based on the referee’s judgment can be awarded a Yellow Card. In case of repeats they can also be awarded a red card causing the players to miss an additional game. Any slide tackles following a game suspension will cause immediate red +3 games suspension. On the return, should there be yet again a ST, the player will be ejected from the league with no reimbursement.

Slide to save a ball from going in the net or from going out of bounds, AND if not opposing player is in way of the tackle, are allowed.  Again, at the discretion of the referee. ABSENTEISM

Every player depends on his teammates. Games will take place if everyone shows for a game. PLEASE make it a habit to advise your captain that you will be playing or not on any given night. Make it a habit to advise your team you will be present or not. Show respect for your team.

For any player who consistently miss a high percentage of games, the captain is allowed requesting the unfiform back from the player and kick him off the team.  All Captains need to see with the league before taking any action and the league will see if any reimbursement is going to be done.

We want players and teammates who show up to games.
