Tigers Baseball: LLAB District 3 High performance baseball

District 3 is once again happy to announce that is it preparing for the 2026 season of Tigers baseball! There was tremendous success in 2025 with our Junior Prep team making it to the championship game of the Divisionals and our Junior team making it all the way to the championship game of the  Canadian Regional Tournament. These teams are on the tournament path to earn their way to the Little League World Series in their respective age groups.

The Little League Alberta High Performance League began in 2022 - and District 3 has been a key participant since it's founding.  This League was created to provide the opportunity for players in the Teenage division an opportunity to play higher level and competitive baseball while remaining in the Little League system.

Who do We compete against?

District 3 has played in games and tournaments against teams representing Alberta Baseball, Alberta Little League, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

Every season, District 3 competes in the Little League Alberta Divisionals with the goal and opportunity to advance to the Canadian Championships and even possibly the Little League World Series in their division.

District 3 is looking to offer up to 3 competitive travel teams with the possibility to offer more as we continue to retain our high level talent.

District 3 has had teams in the Junior Prep, Juniors and Seniors age groups in 2026 - and are looking to continue this for the 2026 Season.

how does my player register?

The member associations of Little League Alberta District 3 will be sending around details in late August/Early September regarding this program - so either watch your email or check back here often for updates on the registration process for evaluations.  Evaluations will be held in September and teams selected shortly after that.

We encourage multi-sport athletes and try and work around your player's other commitments as best we can.

The cost to participate will be $1,850 once again for the 2026 season, and will include indoor winter training, team gear, spring and sumer practices and games and tournaments.

Travel expenses are NOT included.

Our goal is to play a minimum of 50% of our games in the Calgary area.

How does this program compare to others?

Typical cost of other programs range from $2,400 to $6,000 and also do not include travel.

Travel tends to be 3 of 4 weekends per month

League Ages in other groups are based on calendar year - We follow the traditional September 1 to August 31 Little League age brackets.
