YUFC's Under 5 programming uses a holistic approach based on the 4-corner approach to player development, working on technical, psychological, physical, and social development. This style is designed to introduce basic soccer skills using fun activities and games that teach the basics of dribbling, passing, and shooting.

Technical

Introduction to basic soccer skills through "mini-games"

Physical

Develop confidence in basic physical movement skills.

  • improve the ability to use both right and left sides during an activity
  • Develop "non-soccer" skills,  throwing, catching, bouncing, etc.

Allow social skills to develop in a safe and supportive environment.

Program Information

The Under 5 program will be 1 day per week. Players are placed in groups and led through the session by a volunteer coach. Our goal will be to have the programs split by gender, which will depend on the number of registrations received.  Players have the option to sign up for multiple days. 

Base Fee - $60
Program Fee - $30 per day.
Registration includes a jersey and a ball for the player to keep!

Spring Season

  • Estimated Start date is April 29th.  
  • Estimated End date is June 22nd
  • Location:  Logan Green Soccer Pitches
  • Times: 5:45pm until 6:30 pm
  • Program Options: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
  • Festivals May 25th and June 22nd
