Maryland Shock is a competitive local travel basketball team dedicated to player development and growth both on and off the court. Our program emphasizes skill-building, teamwork, and basketball IQ by consistently challenging our athletes against higher-level teams, we create an environment that pushes players to elevate their game, preparing them for the next level of play. At Maryland Shock, our mission is to develop well-rounded athletes with strong fundamentals, confidence, and a passion for the game. These teams will compete in the Carroll County Travel Basketball League (CCTBL).

Each team will hold two evenings of tryouts.  Any player interested in trying out MUST attend at least one session.  

All players trying out for Maryland Shock must register through Winfield Rec Basketball. If selected, an additional fee will apply. Players not selected will be contacted and encouraged to join our rec basketball program. A refund will be issued if they choose not to participate.
