South East United soccer league participant code of conduct & Liability Notice

Participation in or attendance at any South East United Soccer & Futsal activity is entirely at the risk of each person present, including players, coaches, referees, staff, volunteers, adult spectators, and accompanying children.

Assumption of Risk
Futsal and related league activities carry inherent risks of injury or harm—such as slips, falls, collisions, or contact with equipment or the ball. These risks apply to everyone present, whether actively playing or observing.

Release of Liability
By entering the facility or grounds for any league activity, all individuals—players, coaches, referees, volunteers, spectators, staff, and minors accompanied by a parent or guardian—release and hold harmless the South East United Soccer League, its owners, its organizers, facility owners, staff, referees and sponsors from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action for injuries, accidents, illnesses, or property loss that may occur before, during, or after league events. Violation of municipal and provincial laws will be referred to the proper authorities, as required. All violent conduct between fans/players/league staff will be dealt with by proper local authorities. 

League Authority
The South East United Soccer League retains full and final authority regarding league conduct and operations. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Suspending or removing spectators, including minors, whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful in words or actions, or violates league policies and rules.
  
  
• Suspending or removing players or teams for violations of rules or unsportsmanlike conduct.
  
  
• Releasing or reassigning staff, referees, or volunteers at the league’s discretion for any reason deemed appropriate to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
  
  

All decisions made by the league and its designated officials are final.

Medical Responsibility
The league does not provide medical insurance. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the supervision and safety of their children, as well as themselves, and for any medical expenses that may arise.

Compliance
By participating as a staff, spectator, player, and guest of any kind, it is assumed and agreed that all attendees agree to follow the league’s posted rules, regulations, and instructions from league officials and referees for the safety and enjoyment of everyone present. Please note that no kids shall be unsupervised at ANY point at a South East United Soccer League sanctioned event. If you or your kids break any facility structure, it will be your responsibility to cover all costs and consequences for such actions.
