Registration OPENS for the WINTER 2027 RISE Flag Football season in mid-August, 2026.
Each registered player receives a reversible Nike game shirt with their registration fee. This game shirt will be shipped directly to the athlete.
For athletes who register after the regular registration end date, families should expect that uniforms may arrive for Week 2.
There will be an opportunity to purchase a RISE Flag branded mouthguard, RISE Flag branded football or NIKE branded gameday wear through registration. These purchases are optional.
REGISTRATION DETAILS
Early Bird Registration: $225 now through September 13
Registration: $250 September 14 through October 31
Late Registration: $275 November 1 until January 8th or full registration
RISE Flag registration fee does not include platform and credit card processing fees which will be applied at checkout. A $20 RISE processing fee and transaction fee (covering transaction processing cost) will be added to your total.
Sibling Discount of $20. Please note, this discount applies to siblings registered after the initial registered athlete. DISCOUNT WILL BE APPLIED AFTER THE FIRST SIBLING IS REGISTERED. One discount per athlete allowed.

The Mission Viejo RISE Flag Football season runs from January through February (Friday nights) with games taking place at:

LEAGUE FORMAT
RISE Flag Football is based on the child’s grade level for the current school year.
• K - 2nd Division
• 3rd – 4th Division
• 5th – 6th Division
• 7th – 8th Division
• Co-ed, open to grades Kindergarten through 8th
• Eight+ game season including playoffs and consolation games
• 6v6 (K-2, 3/4, 5/6) and 5v5 (7/8) format on 25 x 50 yd field
• 8-10 player rosters so everyone plays every game
• Practice will be conducted on game day - perfect for multi-sport athletes
• No tryouts or drafts - rosters are formed by friend or coach requests; single players placed on teams with similar schools or neighborhoods
• All coaches are volunteer parents and current varsity athletes
COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS
All coaches and volunteers must provide the league commissioner with a current Coaching Certification and background screen.
Each certificate is valid for 1 calendar year.

All refund requests must be submitted to the League Commissioner in writing and refunds will be based on the below:
• Full or 100% registration fee refund if requested 6 weeks prior to the first scheduled event day
• Half or 50% registration fee refund if requested prior to the 1st game of the season
• No refunds will be given after the 2nd game of the season
• If the season is canceled after the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event NO REFUNDS will be processed.
