Heath has been coaching with Barrhead Minor Hockey for the past eight years. With over thirty years of experience in multiple minor hockey organizations and hockey schools throughout Western Canada, Heath brings a deep knowledge of the game and a passion for development. He played his minor hockey in Edmonton and competed at the college level with Augustana University College.  Heath currently teaches Junior High at Barrhead Composite and coaches volleyball and basketball. His coaching philosophy focuses on developing character, effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship in tomorrow’s leaders.

The Sturgeon Sting are fortunate to have Heath as the Head Coach for the 2025–2026 U11AA season.
