REFUND POLICY

All try out fees are non-refundable.

All player registration fees include a $150.00 non-refundable administration fee that is applied to season registration fees. This fee covers credit card fees and administration costs associated with the registration process.

A full refund, less the administration fee, will ONLY be issued if a player withdraws from any programming prior to Sting try outs.

If a player withdraws at any time during the evaluation process, an additional fee of $150.00 will be kept by SHC to offset the costs for the evaluations.

SHC will not refund any monies after evaluations are completed, and teams are formed.

Players who make another team during the second try out process, will receive a full refund including the $150.00 Administration fee, unless they attended evaluations then SHC will keep the $150.00 evaluation costs.

If a player withdraws after the season has commenced and teams have formed, they are required to pay the full team cash call & fundraising costs (as decided by the Team Manager and Team Head Coach). Failure to do so will result in the member to NOT be in good standing with the SHC and will hinder a release or transfer of Hockey Canada File.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE- Jumpstart & KidSport

We believe every child deserves the chance to participate in sports, regardless of financial barriers. If you need help covering registration fees, Canadian Tire Jumpstart and KidSport offer financial assistance to qualifying families. These programs help ensure all kids have access to organized sports and the many benefits they bring—confidence, teamwork, and physical activity.

Eligibility is generally based on household income and proof of financial need. Each program has its own guidelines and application process.
