COACHING REQUIREMENTS
St. Agatha Community Soccer
All volunteers of St. Agatha Parish, School, and Athletics are required to complete the specified training, background check, and fingerprinting to ensure a safe environment for our children. These requirements are mandated by the Diocese of Columbus and the Catholic Church. There are one-time fees ($62) associated with these requirements; once completed, you will be eligible to volunteer in various capacities within the school, parish (PSR), and athletics, including recreational and diocesan sports up through 8th grade. If you require assistance with these fees or have any questions with these requirements, please contact the Athletics Board at stagathawildcats@gmail.com.
1. Get your BCI Background Check and Fingerprinting: Fast Fingerprints is a company the Diocese of Columbus works with closely. It is recommended for background checks but any webcheck location will suffice. See the instructions below to schedule an appointment with Fast Fingerprints or click here for all webcheck locations.

- Volunteer resident of OH > 5 years - BCI only - use code IGHWKX - $37 fee
- Volunteer resident of OH < 5 years - BCI & FBI - use code IGHWMZ - $70 fee

2. Attend a Protecting God’s Children Class: To Register, please click here: VIRTUS® Online - St. Agatha offers an in-person class in the fall but there are other Zoom sessions available throughout the year.
- This class must be completed within 60 days of the start of the coaching season.
- As part of your registration for PGC, after you select your session, you will be directed to an on-line background check provider's site (Selection.com/Fastrax) to submit an online background check. The cost of this report is $25 and is a one-time fee.
3. Complete the Concussion Awareness Course:
- This must be renewed every three years

4. Complete Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Training: - This must be viewed every year

5. Register as a coach by entering your dates of completion on the following form: Coach Requirement Completion Form
