OUR MOST POPULAR QUESTIONS WILL BE LISTED HERE. IF YOU ARE MISSING INFORMATION, PLEASE LET US KNOW BY CONTACTING OUR REGISTRAR/SECRETARY LACEY AT laceyscoggins@hotmail.com
Q: What gear is required to play hockey?
A: To view a full list of required gear, please click
here.
Q: How will I be informed about when hockey starts?
A: Our start up communication will come from a variety of different ways. They include our
Facebook Page, and our website. You will also receive emails directly from our Club's Registrar/Secretary at the start of the season.
Q: How is communication done throughout the season?
A: Once all teams are selected, parents/guardians will receive a link to our TeamLinkt App. Once you have the app downloaded and registered, you will receive schedules and team and club communication through the app. You will also receive emails directly from our website (instead of by email from the Club), so please check your junk folder to ensure you are receiving all the information you need. We strongly encourage parents/guardians to communicate with their Managers and/or Coordinators for any questions or concerns throughout the season.
Q: How are schedules posted?
A: Until teams are selected/split, schedules will be posted on our Facebook Page, Website and by email. Once the teams are selected/split and everyone have received access to the TeamLinkt App, schedules will be available through the app, as well as through the "Schedule" page on our website.
Q: Who do I contact with questions/concerns?
A: Once the season is up and running, your primary point of contact will be your team manager. Once team managers are assigned, they will reach out to parents/guardians to introduce themselves and begin the chain of communication. Our club also have coordinators available to answer any questions including our U7 coordinator, U9 coordinator, A coordinator and C coordinator. You can contact them using the link on our main website page.

Q: What can you tell us about the try-out process?
A: Each season, when numbers allow, our U11, U13 and U15 players can register to attend try-outs for our competitive teams. Currently, tryout fee is an additional $40.00. At the beginning of the season, each age level is required to have four pre-tryout ice sessions, followed by tryouts. Dates and times for tryouts will be communicated by the club to those who have registered and will be posted on our website and Facebook page. The tryout process is outlined in Section 8 of our Operations Manual, found on our website.
Q: What options are there for female hockey?
A: Our female players have some great options when it comes to playing hockey. Beginning at age 4, female players can begin with our co-ed programming. U9 and U11 players will continue to play with our co-ed Rangers, and can opt in to also play with our Sackville Sirens Travel Team. This is at an additional cost of $150.00 and that fee is collected by the coordinator for the Sirens. U13/U15 female players have multiple options when it comes to playing hockey. Those options include the following:
- Play co-ed with the Sackville Rangers only ($485 registration + $100 mandatory fundraising + $40 optional tryout fee)
- Play co-ed Rangers as primary, and Sirens as secondary ($485 registration + $100 mandatory fundraising + $385 Sirens + $40 optional tryout fee)
- Play Sackville Sirens only ($485 registration + $100 mandatory fundraising)
- Play Sirens as primary, and Rangers as secondary ($485 registration + $100 mandatory fundraising + $385 Rangers and you can still tryout for co-ed at $40)
