A Message from Uptraining-

As we make our way through the month of July, we also move closer to the new hockey season. With your help, we have now successfully offered four seasons of our UPtraining hockey school, including more than 350 participants who have now participated with our program. We are excited to be back for year 5 this fall and we are pleased to confirm that this year’s hockey camp will run from September 9^th-14^th. We have worked with the rink to schedule times that hopefully will avoid most conflicts with football and other fall sports.

NEW FOR 2024! – We are pleased to share the news that we will be working more closely with the Mounties women’s hockey program. Mounties coaches, supported by Mounties players, will take a lead role with on-ice program delivery. In addition, we are happy to introduce an all-girls group(s) for the first time in 2024. Female players from the U9 to U18 categories are encouraged to join our new all-girls group(s).

For this year’s hockey camp, we plan to build on our experiences of the past 4 years to help build the best approach for our players.  We will use the camp to focus on skill development but to also push conditioning, particularly for those players who will be heading off to minor hockey tryouts. Our goal is to help players to be ready for a quick start to their hockey seasons.
