OVA Re-Signing Policy Overview

1. The Re-Signing Window: Clubs are permitted to extend official offers to returning athletes from the previous season between June 1 and June 26.
2. Official Documentation: Re-signing offers are only valid when issued via the official OVA Re-signing Form. Verbal offers are strictly informal and legally non-binding.
3. Offer Validity: While clubs are not required to utilize the re-signing period, any official offer extended must be honored by the club for a specific timeframe (typically 36 to 72 hours) from the moment it is presented.
4. Commitment & Penalties: Once an athlete accepts an official re-signing offer, they are fully committed to that club for the upcoming season.
   They become ineligible to attend tryouts or sign with any other OVA club. Violations of this policy may result in official sanctions and financial penalties.
