OBA Tournament Weekend
In an all-OSBA provincial "C" final, the Port Hope Flyers defeated the Clarington Cubs 6-5 on a walkoff sacrifice fly by former Cub Wayne Feltham. Dawson Baker who went 9-19 with 8 RBI
Skyleuir Coote who had a home run and 8 RBI
Walker McKelvey and Hunter Baker who combined for 17 hits in 6 games
Luke Kirkey pitched 4 times and notched a win and 2 saves
Brendan Tink who pitched 3 times and went 12 1/3 innings
For the Cubs standouts included:
Brennen Conquer going 11-17 with 5 RBI
Justin Green going 12-23 with 5 doubles and 6 RBI
Brandon Wentzel was 6-14 with a home run
Ilce Bozinovski homered twice,
Six players knocked in at least 5 runs
Liam Story pitched 3 times and struck out 14 in 11 2/3 innings
Curtis March won two games in one day, pitching 12 innings and striking out 11
